About Us

Who We Are

Gulf Coast Logistics was started in 2001 by Greg Zipp, who spent 17 years in the LTL industry working for the largest LTL carrier in the world. After leaving the LTL industry, he started Gulf Coast Delivery in 1998 as a full truckload carrier servicing 20 states. As the company grew from 1 to 10 trucks, the real potential in logistics was realized and Gulf Coast Delivery then became Gulf Coast Logistics a Property Broker and 3PL.

Gulf Coast Logistics expanded from working at home dispatching trucks and brokering a few loads into a full-service logistics company which could solve and handle a wide variety of customer needs. Gulf Coast Logistics offers services including, full truckload, less than truckload, intermodal, air, drayage, over-dimension, project cargo, and more.
